NATHAN ASKEW
Nathan Askew was born in Sikeston, Missouri in 1977. He is a full time outfitter and guide in Africa as well as the Untied States, (www.iowatrophyhunts.com) and New Zealand. In 2000 he obtained a B.S. in Biology from Truman State University. A short stint in the corporate world led him to chase his childhood dream of hunting Professionally in Africa. A letter of resignation and two weeks later he found himself in the wilderness of Africa with his backpack and a borrowed large caliber rifle. His apprenticeship started with Dangerous Game in Mozambique, where he started his own safari company shortly after. He has been a full time Professional Hunter for ten years. Sam Pharr
Owner and Call Builder of Gooserbat Game Calls has more than 25 years experience hunting Oklahoma turkeys from one side of the state to the other. Many seasons he has only hunted public land, and has gained knowledge of what it takes to hunt educated public land toms. While he himself is not a competition caller he considers the ultimate competition to be the hunt itself, and the ultimate prize to be a strutting tom in that magical "shotgun range". He founded Gooserbat Game Calls three years ago out of a need for a diaphragm call that filled the need of the hunter. Sam desribes that as being simply a line of call's that is sensitive, and produces a full array of tones, pitch and rasp. Danny King: Danny King is a co-founder of the "Famous" Danny King's Catfish Punch Bait with over 50 years experience on Rod & Reel catfishing. He is on the pro staff with US Reel and has been featured on The Outdoor Channel, The G3 Sportsman on Fox Midwest, and the Sportsman's Channel. JR will also offer tips to help you choose the right outfitter to insure you get the most of your next outdoor adventure.
Kenneth Whitehead
Owner and Builder of Caney River Calls, which began with a passion for waterfowl. With 30 years of duck hunting experience it only comes natural to try and give back to the sport he loves.
